We are getting married next weekend,
and like a couple of crazy kids,
we decided to visit Uncle Brett and Aunt Crystal
over Memorial Day weekend.
We figured a roadtrip was the cure to the dreadful wait time leading up to the wedding!!
We drove up Friday after work and arrived right in time for bedtime.
In the morning, we played and then packed up for a road trip to Milwaukee, WI.
We visited Discovery World, which was an amazing Science Museum and Aquarium,
with incredible scenic views of Lake Michigan.
We walked through the Public Market in the Third Ward neighborhood
before heading to a Brewers game.
Pretty worn out from a full Saturday, we decided to take it easy Sunday morning.
The kids morphed into superheroes while Brett whipped up a delicious breakfast.
We played at their neighborhood park for quite a while before heading out for a hike at The Grove.
And while we were away...
my dearest Craig arranged for some of our wedding party to paint our house,
hang cafe lights above the pool, and move some of my bigger furniture.
Words cannot express how full my heart is for these people and Craig for arranging this.
Serving others is truly the greatest act of love.
I am so humbled that our friends and family would give up time during their long weekend
to doing this for us.
I am tremendously blessed ... and thankful.
